This parade is so popular it usually brings around 20,000 spectators each year. It consists of 10 marching bands, 40 handcrafted parade floats, and hundreds of marchers dressed in costumes. Anyone can be a marcher in the parade; marcher registration is in front of St. Mary of the Lakes School.

Medford Oktoberfest & Business Expo is returning September 18, 2021 in Freedom Park! There will be live music from local rock, folk, and bands. Most American students learn about Independence Day in history class. But it's very unlikely they learned all of these fun facts about the day our nation was granted its independence from Britain. This year the Fourth of July falls on a Sunday.
1. Independence Day doesn’t celebrate when the Declaration of Independence was signed. Continental Congress voted for independence from Britain on July 2nd, 1776. The Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4th.
